The opening speeches of the training, designed to enhance the capacity of staff working in institutions offering child protection and care services were delivered by Tar\u0131k Tuncay, the Key Expert of the \u00d6zne \u00c7ocuk Project. Representatives from the Ministry of Family and Social Services as well as relevant staff from central and provincial organization took part in the training.<\/p>\n<p>During the five-day training program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak A\u00e7\u0131kel, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet \u00d6zaslan, Prof. Dr. M\u00fcdriye Y\u0131ld\u0131z B\u0131\u00e7ak\u00e7\u0131, Rabia Tuba Y\u0131ld\u0131z, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ege conducted sessions and moderated group work.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day of the training, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak A\u00e7\u0131kel presented material to the participants on Child Mental Health and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet \u00d6zaslan shared insights on Adolescent and Adult Mental Health.<\/p>\n<p>The second day commenced with the session on Trauma and Intervention led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak A\u00e7\u0131kel. This session was followed by Assist Prof. Dr. Ahmet \u00d6zaslan who presented information on Behaviour Management and Discipline.<\/p>\n<p>On the third day, Prof. Dr. M\u00fcdriye Y\u0131ld\u0131z B\u0131\u00e7ak\u00e7\u0131 gave a presentation on the Characteristics of Children with Typical and Atypical Development. The training continued with group work sessions.<\/p>\n<p>On the fourth day of the training, Rabia Tuba Y\u0131ld\u0131z informed participants about Burnout and Stress Management in Staff\/Families, as well as Conflict Resolution Skills.<\/p>\n<p>The last day of the training continued with the sessions on Interview Techniques with Children and Communication Skills led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ege.
